Authorized Drop-off Centers
Customers who want to save money and bring us their documents can do so at the following locations:
Our Point Loma drop-off center is located at 3663 Rosecrans St., San Diego, 92110. The Document Destruction Office is on the Sports Arena side of the building in "Building B", across from the entrance to Big Lots. This Goodwill office receives documents Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (619) 225-9483.
Our Oceanside drop-off center is conveniently located in Downtown Oceanside at 414 North Coast Highway, Oceanside, 92054. This Goodwill office receives documents Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (760) 722-8582.
Our University City drop-off center is located in the Goodwill Bookstore in Universality Square (Von’s shopping Center) on the corner of Governor Drive and Genesee. The address is 4023 Governor Drive, San Diego, 92122. Open 9-7 Monday through Friday, 9-6 on Saturday and 10-6 on Sunday. (858) 909-0200.

Commercial and Government Shredding
Off-Site
Providing the greatest degree of security, Goodwill can provide regularly scheduled pick-up service (weekly- bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly), and then destroy documents off-site in our secure, camera-monitored, burglar alarmed plant, that is “AAA” Certified by the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID). This service offers lower prices, and a certificate of destruction. With Goodwill’s off-site shredding, documents are always secured and monitored up to and during the actual shredding.
Goodwill places secure locked containers on your premises. At regularly scheduled intervals, our uniformed customer service representative transfers the containers to our secure locked trucks. Every customer service representative is fully insured and bonded.
After materials are shredded beyond practical reconstruction, the paper is baled and then sent to pulping mills for recycling.
